The 90-second workflow

Record safely. Pick the moments. Post the finish.

This is the whole product. There is no timeline to learn and no upload to babysit.

  1. 010:00 — 0:30

    Record safely

Start OBS as usual. WeaverClip streams your recording to your private vault in six-second pieces and deletes each local piece only after the vault confirms its checksum. Your laptop never holds more than about 100 MB.

74 MB on disk during a four-hour session.

  2. 020:30 — 1:00

    Pick the moments

When you stop, the session becomes a short ranked list instead of a timeline. Every moment shows why it ranked: your marker, chat velocity, a scene change, your audio energy, or the line you actually said.

4h 18m became five moments worth posting.

  3. 031:00 — 1:30

    Post the finish

Pick a moment and you already have a recommended range, layout, hook, and caption preset. Adjust what you want, press render once, and download a vertical clip with captions that look hand-edited.

One render. No timeline, no keyframes, no NLE.

What "safe" means here

You should never have to wonder whether the recording survived.

The Safety Rail is the same picture everywhere in the product: what is verified in your vault, what is still uploading, what is only on your machine, and — if it ever happens — exactly what is missing.

  • Under 100 MB on your machine

Hours of footage live in your vault, not your drive. The local ring buffer exists only to protect against a dropout.

  • Verify before delete, always

A piece of footage is only called safe after its upload checksum matches. Until then the Safety Rail shows it as still catching up — never as done.

  • The audio lifeline keeps running

If your uplink degrades we lower the bitrate, spill to disk if there's room, and protect audio last. Whatever happens, you get told exactly where and for how long.

  • Recovery you can actually read

“38 seconds are missing at 01:42:10. Clips cannot cross this gap.” Never a spinner, never a shrug, never “something went wrong”.

Why it finds more

An upload-first editor sees a finished video. We were there while it happened.

Six signals ride along with the recording itself. Every ranked moment tells you which ones fired and why — no unexplained virality score.

  • Your markers

A hotkey press or a moderator typing !clip is the strongest signal there is. It rides along with the recording.

  • Chat velocity

We watch how fast chat moves relative to your own baseline, so a 400-viewer stream and a 40,000-viewer stream both rank fairly.

  • Scene changes

OBS tells us the exact instant you cut to a new scene. An upload-first editor has to guess that from pixels.

  • Exact scene geometry

We know your facecam is a 480×270 box at the top right, so the vertical reframe is exact rather than a face-tracking guess.

  • Audio energy

Sustained excitement and a well-placed pause both read differently from a single loud spike.

  • What you actually said

The transcript finds payoff lines, teaching beats, and complete stories — not just the loudest ten seconds.

Captions

Four presets. All of them look hand-set.

Two or three words a card, clause-aware breaks, a fixed baseline while the active word moves, and text that stays clear of the action rail. These are the real typefaces the renderer uses.

Your editor stops asking for the file

Invite an editor and they can search, preview, clip, and download straight from your vault. No transfer ritual, no external drive, no waiting for a 60 GB upload to finish overnight.

  • Editor seats are unlimited on every paid plan
  • Grant access to one session or the whole vault
  • Set an expiry date and revoke access any time
  • You always see which clips came from which editor

Months of recordings, searchable by what you said

Every session keeps its transcript. Search "the burnout tape" or a half-remembered phrase and land on the exact second, a year later.

“The burnout was not the workload. It was the four hours of scrubbing after the workload.”

If you ever cancel, Forever Proxy can keep a 480p proxy and the transcript so your archive stays searchable — only with your explicit consent.
